Episode 1 features the wonderful ‘Bel’ who visited me in London back in the Autumn of 2019 with her elder sister Maia who had suggested she apply for the portrait series. Bel was born with an extremely rare Cleft. At 26 years of age Bel has had 23 major facial reconstructive surgeries many of which ground-breaking in this field. Not only is Bel an inspiration, she also shares intimate moments and challenges along the way as she confronts each hurdle with grace and a smile.

Episode 2 features the superb ‘Daniel’ who visited me in London back in the Autumn of 2019 from California after a friend suggested him to me for the portrait series. Daniel had been in a severe car accident in November 2017, losing his left eye in the process after the 100mph wreck. After 15 major facial reconstructive surgeries and speaking openly about where he was in the lead up the that fateful night Daniel discusses turning his entire life around, being sober ever since and his new focus in life his New Earth Animal Sanctuary.
